Habit Tracker
Well, we got back on track with practicing this week after an abysmal round on tuesday (more on this later).
Contrary to popular belief, if I don’t practice, I won’t play well! (derrr)
Training Log
Resistance Train (Gym): 2
Conditioning (Road Bike): 0
Still dealing with the lingering SIJ injury. Can’t ride the bike, but thankfully gym workouts are starting to be more intense and it doesn’t bother me while golfing so all things aside it could be worse.
Skill Practice
First range session in WEEKS. Badly needed. Working on just getting back the feel of my swing that I had lost after a few weeks of travel + time off.
Golf Performance
Well, after shooting an 89 in September and a 91 opening October, I thought I had left the high scores behind.
Sike!
Golf is a game that will humble you quickly when you get too confident. After traveling and being very busy at work I didn’t have time to go to the range and wasn’t practicing at home as much, but I thought I’d achieved a level of skill that would be maintained if I at least played once a week.
What the hell was I thinking lol…
No sense in reviewing this. Hadn’t practiced, played poorly.
This round re-committed me to get back to the range and daily practice.

You can’t take your eye off the ball for just one second, no matter how well you’ve played in the past!
Thankfully that was the wake up call I needed to double down on practice while I’m still recovering through injury, and will be setting up to play this Sunday.
