Welcome Players! It was a very, very slow week for Project Par. Even the fastest race-cars have to stop in for a pit-stop (anyone watch the Monaco GP??) and I took full advantage of mine. I may not be leading the pack, but I’ve got a good fuel strategy and strong components. It’s a marathon not a sprint!

Training Week in Review
This was probably the least-active week we’ve posted to date.
I’m not one to make excuses, but you do deserve some reasons.
Rain rain go away. Summer in Miami means it’s rainy-season, and both of my planned range sessions got rained out.
New putter! (isn’t ready yet). I told you I bought a new putter last week, and while it arrived I am having a new shaft and grip put on it. In the meantime I’ve given up on practicing with my old scotty cameron. I’m done with it and am very much looking forward to getting my new putter in rotation this week and ramping up the practice time with it.
With the long weekend of Memorial Day I was out of town Friday - Monday. Hard to practice when you’re on the beach in the Bahamas!
With all that said there’s really nothing to report this week except for the two days where I chipped balls into my couch and took some air-swings with a 6i.

Training Log
Resistance Train (Gym): 2
Conditioning (Road Bike): 1
Because of the rain I had no problem getting in two RT sessions this week, and as I’ve been saying my gym & conditioning progress has been going really well.
Too bad that won’t make me play better if I’m not practicing. But I believe it’s important to maintain a high level of physical fitness regardless of how much I’m able to practice.
You’ll notice this week I took out the home yoga… I haven’t done it in months and while it was useful in the beginning there’s just no way I’m going to be able to RT, condition, and practice. Down to three!
Wrap-Up
The good news is after the short vacation I feel pretty great.
I’ll be getting my putter back this week, and will look to enact my plan of double-ing down on golf practice.
See you next week!
Cannot remember the last time I turned off my cell…maybe it’s the “mom” in me?!? Sounds like your trip was awesome!
